Safer Internet Day
Today Class Estuary have been celebrating Safer Internet Day ‘Want to talk about it? Making space for conversations about life online’.
We have explored how our class currently experience the internet; and how we observe family, friends and teachers using it. We have discussed that issues can arise when using the internet, and the feelings we may get as a result of this. As a class we discussed how our bodies might feel and react to seeing something online we weren’t expecting. We have created strategies for recognising our feelings and how we can discuss them openly with trusted adults.
We also considered significant milestones of using technology; discussing our personal opinions and talking positively and negatively about age appropriateness of different experiences.
