Visit to Slimbridge Wetland Centre
Class Stream had a great day out at the Wetland Centre in Slimbridge and learnt lots about how and why birds migrate to other places. We found out what was like to be a 'researcher' and live in the Arctic for a few months while observing the birds. We even saw a wooden shed that they would use as a toilet! We saw lots of different birds including flamingoes, ducks, geese and swans. We enjoyed watching the Bewick swans on the lake while eating our lunch in the bird hide.
