Visit to The John Moore Museum
We had a great day out at the John Moore Museum where we completed three different workshops. First we learnt about what it was like to live in Tudor times. Next we found out how timber-framed houses were built. We had a go at joining timber frames together using wooden pegs and then made a wattle and daub frame by weaving willow sticks. Finally, we had fun playing lots of games that children would have played in the past.
